Guess Who's Back?

Hello everyone!

I hope you are all ok. I have decided that I need to start this up again! Partly because I need an outlet to write whatever I please but also because I have mentioned this on my Personal Statement and now have committed myself to building it up- can't have my future lecturers looking at this empty site with disappointment eh?!

I am now in my second year of Journalism at college (and I still love it to bits), I have a work placement every week at a local newspaper (not going to lie I am not someone built for office work but it's going ok) and I am in desperate need of a job to support my grand plans of paying for that Netflix subscription one day!

The issues with getting a part time job are the following:

1. I am very fussy and would not want to work in a job that pays me the bare minimum to give all of my remaining energy so I would eventually hate it with every fibre of my being

and 2. I already have something on most days of the week and if I take on even more, I won't have a moment to breathe!

I have also launched a business with my Mum and sister, completed a huge convention, (and we are planning to do another!) so hopefully it is only on the up!

Looking at unis is also super hard... It's like being thrown in at the deep end without a rubber ring and just being expected to float! I think I want to stay in London so that I could ultimately stay at home in my second and third year but at this point I don't even know anymore. It is hard to get to open days around the country and even harder to convince someone to come with me, not to mention that all the ones I want to go to are on the same day!!

So this blog is back with a vengeance- a license to kill if it were- an outlet for me, a portfolio and (I hope) still a happy corner of the internet for everyone. I am very aware that not many people will read this or even see my blog and that is fine as it is mainly for me and anyone who joins the ride should count themselves very lucky!

I have a post planned for next week all about my favourite season and the best day of the whole year (it's Halloween witchesss) so make sure to look out for it.
